BOOK ONE – “DAUGHTER OF A DAUGHTER” Linnea is a smart, shy eleven year old who lives in the shadow of a charismatic, beautiful and often outrageous mother. She is trying to grow up and be her own person during her mother’s battle with breast cancer. She learns what community means and how to gain strength from all of the women in her family, including those Ancestors who lived long ago. This story is heart-felt, funny, spiritual and surprising.

BOOK TWO – “WHO IS SHE?” Now Linnea is all grown up, she is always in control and very successful in her career. Then she is diagnosed with cancer and suddenly nothing is in her control. Close friends abandon her just when she needs them most. Then she meets an amazing, fun Transgendered friend who supports her in ways she never dreamed possible. She also meets a sexy young man, with great capacity to love. She becomes aware of her Ancient Ancestors and they give her the desire to survive. But will she?

BOOK THREE – “HILLY’S STORY” This one is from the perspective of Linnea’s mother – a flawed character but full of life, passion and a fighting spirit. From her college days spent at the infamous CBGB club in NYC, to the ballet scene of Saratoga Springs, Hilly’s life will surprise you and possibly shock you. She deals with her many challenges with humor and bravery.

BOOK FOUR – “GRANDMOTHERS” In this book we go on a journey to “The Old Country” of Denmark in the early 1900’s. We follow Hilly’s mother back to her childhood. She is a sweet young woman with a will of iron. Her ability to show unconditional love is a beautiful example of how to forgive others and live in balance. She is also in touch with the ancient (and often magical) ways of her grandmothers, her Scandinavian Ancestors.

BOOK FIVE – “WHAT IS SHE?” If you like dark mysteries, you will LOVE this! Travel back in time to the Viking age. Christianity is just becoming fashionable but a powerful Queen/Seer/Shieldmaiden will not stand for it. She uses her mysterious sexuality to get whatever she desires, but more than anything, she is devoted to her people and the “Old Ways.” With brilliance and ferocity she leads her people to great success. But, at what cost? Oh, and she may or may not have killed her husband, the King.

BOOK SIX – “WHERE IS SHE?” Scandea is a beautiful teenage girl who lived at the end of the last Ice Age. Her tribe is captured and she is forced to marry the Chieftain’s brutal son. She learns the power of forgiveness and becomes a great Healer/Seer for her new tribe. This threatens some, and she is banished – forced to wander, all alone. Almost at death’s door, she meets an amazing man who helps her to heal, both emotionally and physically. Together they travel across the land bridge to a brand new world. Her deep connection to Nature, spirituality and wisdom will inspire you.
